Our Purpose: Empowering Education, Culture, and Community Through Scholarships and HBCU Expansion
At Speak Up, our commitment goes beyond building a social platform—we are dedicated to investing in the future by offering 100% tuition scholarships to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through our scholarship program, we aim to create a community of excellence, grounded in the proud foundations and enduring legacy of HBCUs.
We recognize the critical role HBCUs play in fostering educational and social equity, particularly for Black, low-income, and first-generation students. These institutions provide nurturing environments where professors invest in their students’ success, significantly improving graduation rates and life outcomes. HBCUs offer more affordable tuition, helping to reduce student debt burdens that disproportionately impact Black students. Amid rising racial tensions and challenges to affirmative action, HBCUs stand as culturally affirming, safe spaces where students can thrive without fear of discrimination.
Beyond education, HBCUs power local economies and fuel socioeconomic mobility, strengthening communities by producing a significant share of Black graduates in STEM fields and creating opportunities that help close the racial wealth gap. The economic impact of HBCUs extends far beyond their campuses, generating billions annually and forming vital partnerships with their surrounding communities.
Guided by this powerful legacy, Speak Up is devoted to building on the HBCU foundation to reimagine and expand their reach. We are ambitiously planning to launch three new HBCU campuses by 2030, in Las Vegas, California, and Arizona. These new campuses will not only preserve the rich culture and history of HBCUs but also advance state-of-the-art technology and offer advanced courses tailored for the rapid changes shaping our world today.
Our vision goes beyond education: we aim to lead the revitalization of cultural districts nationwide, reimagining Greenwood and Black Wall Street as beacons of economic stability, cultural pride, and community empowerment. Through the launch of our Cultural Token and cutting-edge technology initiatives, we will fuel this renaissance, building a sustainable future where culture, education, and economic power unite to transform our communities.

Speak Up Entrepreneur Program: Building Black-Owned Futures
At Speak Up, we don’t just celebrate Black-owned businesses; we empower the next generation of entrepreneurs to build sustainable, thriving ventures from the ground up. Introducing the
Speak Up Entrepreneur Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to support aspiring Black business owners with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.
Each quarter, we select one promising entrepreneur to receive a comprehensive startup package including seed funding, a tailored marketing plan, and a detailed business plan crafted to guide their journey from idea to impact. But we don’t stop there. At Speak Up, we believe in long-term growth, so our commitment extends beyond the launch—we actively support our entrepreneurs with ongoing business development resources, expert mentorship, and access to our exclusive partner business network.
As part of this program, our chosen entrepreneur will receive:
Seed funding to cover critical startup costs and get their business off the ground.
A custom marketing plan designed to help them connect authentically with their target audience and grow their brand.
A business plan blueprint with actionable steps for sustainable growth and scalability.
Free advertising for one full year on the Speak Up platform, reaching a vibrant community hungry to support culture-driven businesses.
A spotlight feature in our
Speak Up Black Business & Cultural Spotlight, sharing their story and mission with the entire community.
